Your New Favorite R&B Singers
This week's -Artist Spotlight- is on two rising R&B artists that I absolutely love! Dvsn, who recently signed a deal with Drake's OVO Sound and Guordan Banks, who was recently featured on BET Soul.
Most of us first heard of Dvsn when producer, Nineteen85, played "The Line" and "With Me" on his set of the 8th episode of OVO Sound Radio. Since then, everyone has been trying to figure out who Dvsn is and where he came from! Clearly Drake is going to make it known, as of March 1, 2016 Dvsn is the newest member of the OVO Sound family. So stay tuned...I'm sure we can look forward to an unveiling of his artistry and personality in the near future.
If you are a true R&B fan you will fall in love with Guordan Bank's smooth and smoky voice. I first heard Guordan on an inspiring record (Kur - When I Got It). His voice is very moving, he blesses every track he records. He's worked with artists such as: Meek Mill, Kur, 50 Cent, Beanie Sigel and Young Chris to name a few. I call him "Philly's best kept R&B secret" and it's time we share him with the world!
